She was raised in Atlanta attending D.M. Therrell High School but she is Macon made. Her legal career blossomed in Macon, GA - the heart of the South. A Servant’s Heart Judge Colvin started her career as an Associate in a firm whose primary mission was to protect the civil rights of those who they served. Service has become her professional mission. Her heart for service led her to work as an Assistant Solicitor in Athens-Clarke County and that service was continued in the Clayton Co. District Attorneys Office. In 1999, she joined the United States Attorney’s Office in the Middle District of GA. Representing the United States of America was the opportunity of a lifetime and provided the forum to serve the citizens of Middle GA. Judge Colvin has continually stayed true to her calling- service to all.
